The History.

Buckeye, Arizona has a long tradition of providing opportunities. Founded in 1888 and originally named Sidney, Buckeye was changed to its current name in 1910. Once the railroad was introduced that same year, Buckeye boomed. The Buckeye Valley Museum, located in Downtown Buckeye, houses all kinds of treasures that tell the story of the city’s past. Today, Buckeye continues to be an important center in Arizona for industry, business and commerce.
